Hello and thanks for the great library.
I am using MigraDoc/PDFSharp for a while and am switching to v6 now.
What is the current state of unicode in PDFSharp?
I tried the examples from github but still have a problem with most glyphs.
Specifically the two classics:
Check Mark: ✔ (U+2714)
Cross Mark: ❌ (U+274C)

But I always get the empty rectangles.
I tried to embed other fonts and also tried using PDFSharp only (w/o MigraDoc) but to no avail.

I know that unicode was problematic in the old version but I also read that it's supported now.

Should MigraDoc and/or PDFSharp be able to render these glyphs or am I just missing something and this is not possible?

Any clarification is much appreciated.

PDFsharp and MigraDoc are able to render these characters - provided you use a font that has them.

Thank you!
I searched and tried for so long and it was just the Font :oops:

Got it working perfectly now and am making very sure now, that all of the correct fonts get embedded in the project :D

BTW: Even 1Fxxx codes work with the right fonts - and even in colour now.
