Hello,

I have a strange sounding question ;-)

I want to move page contents.

My problem is: I am creating a PDF with several pages and chapters. Depending on the number of pages a chapter has, I want it to start on an odd page. (chapters with an even number of pages start on an odd page to reduce the need of turning pages in a chapter - they are about 1-6 pages long)

It would be no problem, if I would not have a binding correction of 1cm at the inner side of the page and the page number at the outside. So I am not able to eimply insert a page before the first of a chapter.
I think, that measuring the lines and everything would be a bit of work that is tendig to produce errors, as I have to do the calculations twice.

My thought would be, to write the pages, count them and if needed add a page before the first and then correct the positions and place the page numbers. But I would have to be able to move the page elements for that. Is that possible?

Does anyone have another idea (more simple, cool, etc.) what I can do about this?

regards,
Philip

Did you have any luck on this I have a similar problem where if the section ends on even numbered page I have to insert a spacer page.

No problem if you are using MigraDoc.
