Hello Madam/Sir,
We are using PDFSharp (PDFSharp 1.50(beta 5))modules in our project for metadata update of PDF file.
Since this library uses encryption, we need to specify the EAR number or ECCN related to PDFSharp modules.

Kindly share the above information as it is required for our release.

AFAIK we do not have an ECCN. We do not export PDFsharp from the USA.

I don't know if the encryption in PDFsharp really requires an ECCN. There is no "weapon-strength" encryption used inside.

Since PDFsharp encryption source code is "Publicly available", it is not subject to the EAR once the email notification per section 742.15(b) is sent to 'crypt@bis.doc.gov'' and to ''enc@nsa.gov'.

Did PDFSharp submit the notification or copy to ''crypt@bis.doc.gov'' and to ''enc@nsa.gov''?
If yes, kindly provide details on this.

I don't think so.
PDFsharp was developed in the EU and we know little about US export policies.
