Hi,

I encountered an error when opening a PDF file, created by an HP (1.7 PDF) device. When opening the memStream, it crashes with "unexpected character 0xffff in PDF stream". I am able to view this PDF normally (created by someone else, via an old HP device). I do know that this generation of HP PDF generator was not good (did tech support for HP back then).

PdfDocument document = PdfReader.Open(memStream);

Not replicable without the PDF file. And most likely not a bug in PDFsharp.

I think you are correct. After going through its metadata, I noticed it was device created. I know HP had issues in the past (not sure now) with malformed PDFs
