Does PDFSharp Migradoc have support for fallback fonts. I want the render to try to use other fonts if the Unicode character is not available in that font.

My data contains english, chinese, japanese and korean characters and some characters will not get displayed based on the font I select.

No.

A fallback font used per character might look very odd - for example if letters with accents look different than the same letter without accent.

As of now it is up to you to ensure that the font includes the characters your application needs.

It looks even weirder when characters are not rendered at all. :)

Unfortunately, we dont have any font which we are licensed to use which will handle all the characters we receive.
Also we have a priority order in the fonts to maintain a common look across our outputs.

Do you know any way I can implement something to handle this situation.
Or even if you could point me to where and how the fonts rendering is implemented so i can maybe make some changes in a private fork.

I would prefer not to have to rewrite our whole pdf output creation code in a different library.
