How can I modify piece of text (I would like to replace some words in it) during copying pages from one PDF to another?

Hi there
I know this is an old post, but i have the same problem. I have a PDF with some info tags (eg. {DATE}) which i would like to replace with the current date. Have you found a solution or is this completely impossible?
