Question:
Is it possible to enumerate objects on the PDF page and get back coordinates of each object? (I believe, we only have tables/texts/images)
Or, maybe someone can give me advice how to solve the problem below in a different way? I do not care if I will need to purchase existing tool…
Problem I need to solve:
We use third party tool to generate PDF files. With new upgrade, generated files are almost identical.
It creates the same information – but, sometimes it is displayed 1,2 pixels off.
We have thousands of files to compare. In the past, we would export the image of each PDF page and do pixel compare. With 1,2 pixel offsets, it becomes very difficult to do image comparison....
If there is a way to enumerate the objects with coordinates, I can very easily compare the objects, and ignore 1,2 pixel errors, when the text/image itself are the same…
