Hello,
I have a report generated in Sql Server Reporting Services that is a multi column report. Microsoft in its infinite wisdom cannot display multiple columns in the report viewer, but it does support multiple columns if you export the report to pdf. They also decided it would be a good idea to treat page breaks as column breaks in this format. So my problem is when I need a page break on a certain group and the report is currently in column 1, it treats it as a column break and starts the next section of the report in column 2. I've searched until blue in the face to find a work around for this, and have found a few suggestions, but nothing to achieve the results as I need them. I have found a way to insert the page break on the grouping, but no way to only do it if I'm in column 1. So here I am trying to manipulate the pdf after the fact.
Is there any way to identify my group break and force a page break on that group if the report is curently writing column 1?
