Hi

Are there any plans of supporting ASP.Net Core (netcoreapp1.0)?

Kind regards

Not really. I do not see it coming soon.
Image handling currently relies on GDI+ or WPF.
We have plans to change image handling. This would be a big step towards ASP.NET Core support, but currently there is no schedule when image handling will be re-implemented.

wanted to ask if the plans here changed.
.NET Core is really taking off right now. We are looking at new PDF libraries right now and .NET core is a requirement in the future.

I've been using Core for 2 years. I'm currently porting an ASP.NET app to Core. PDFsharp an excellent library and could be the perfect (and likely only) drop-in solution for my app.
I don't consider myself a Core expert, however, at first glance it would seem that building the PDFsharp library for Core with dependencies on Microsoft.Windows.Compatability and Microsoft.Windows.Compatability.Shims would be a fairly trivial undertaking to make PDFSharp available for Core applications.
I understand and agree with the foundation's long-term philosophy of not requiring any dependencies, but at least it would be an interim solution and open the package to millions of applications.
